I LOST......I LOST......I LOST

Today after a few days of doing nothing and sitting on the couch with my foot up, I went to my weight watchers meeting and when the leader asked me if I wanted to weigh in my plaster I said I would weigh as I had a feeling a may have lost around 500g, to my surprise I had lost 1.7kg, wonder what it would have been without the cast.
Am going to try and do some upper body work tomorrow as I am on a high again now and want to LOSE LOSE LOSE.
I have now lost 15.5kg in 15 weeks.

I'M PLASTERED!!!

Just come back from the doctors after having a x-ray on my toe, they told me that I have not just broken the toe, I have crushed it.......I am now in plaster, the first time in my life. No exercise for 3 weeks at least and no spa's (how am I going to cope, I live in my spa)

I am soooooooo pi**ed off, I was hoping for a good loss this week. I wonder how much a plaster weighs? Might just hobble along to class tomorrow and see what happens.

Kristie from Biggest Losser.
Today I hobbled into the local shops on the way to the Doctors as knew Kristie from the Biggest Loser was going to be there, she looked great and is a very bubbly Person, she answered lots of questions and then she signed photos, my kids were so excitied to see her and they told me that they belived that I could do it too and be skinny like she is. (aww Lovely Girls) They have been great inspiration for me and they have also been walking with me most mornings, the blonde one has been shouting at me to go faster and pick up the pace, I think she feels like she is a PT.

So much for good intensions!!!!

After a really good start to the day and arranging to join the local gym next friday, I went to find some thing from a box in the shed.
The box I wanted was on the top shelf and I knew it was heavy as it was full of books and files, I very carfully lifted it down and then I started to turn around with it and knocked over my Husband's dive tank and it landed on my foot!! OUCH!!!!!!!!

I can not move my toe now and it is so painful!

I never thought I would see the day when it really pisses me off that I can not exercise.

FEELING GOOD!
Today I went for my usual morning walk and changed my route and just kept going, when I got home I got straight in my car and drove the same route, it was 6 km....It took me one hour to walk it.
I am joining a Gym next week and going to try and speed up my weight loss....
My new motivation now is Robbie Williams coming to Perth !! YAY!
I have lost 13.8kg now and feel so much better for it, Got a new bike seat for my bike on mothers day so am going to try and start riding 3 times a week, will keep you posted on how I go.

I Did It....I got my 10% today!! Ya for me!

This week wasn't the best with Mothers day and three days of family functions. I knew that to get the 10% I needed to lose 900g, when I stood on the scales and she said 1kg off I was wrapped.

Kings Park with WW members

On Friday 21st April, some of the lovely members from Perth met up at Kings Park, Its was a lovely day and was nice to chat about our weight loss Journey. We addes up all our weight loss and togther we had lost a total of over 90kg.
Today I entered my measurements into my ww passport book, when I started my weight loss journey my stats were:
Chest 123cm
Waist 117cm
Hips 138cm

New stats 8/5/06
Chest 115cm
Waist 108 cm
Hips 130cm

After a Great Xmas and new year I finally decided that 2006 was going to be the year that I lost weight, I have been large all my life and I was 110 kilos on my wedding day in 1992 (Oh to be there again)At the end of 2005 when channel 10 started to advertise for the biggest loser, I thought to myself I need to get into that and show everyone I can do it. I checked out the biggest loser web site and decided that beacuse I have MS, it would not be a good idea to try and put my body through that. So I decided that the only way to do this was to join ww. I joined weightwacthers the first week of going back to school after the holidays. (Friday 3rd Feb)

During week one I read the magazine and the books and found out the points values for all favorite types of food. I hunted on the net and in the papers etc for success stories to get me going. During that week I decided that I was going to succeed this time after many years of being a yo-yo dieter.

When I stood on the scales I had lost 2.8 kilos and was thrilled.

Week Two Loss of 1.7kg
Week Three Loss of 1 kg
Week Four Loss of 1kg
Week Five Loss of 9oog
Week Six Loss of 2 kg
Week Seven Loss of 200g
Week Eight Loss of 700g
Week Nine Loss of 1.7 kg
Week Ten Gain of 100g (should have gone to toilet)
Week Eleven Loss of 700g
Week Twelve Loss Gain of 300g
Week Thirteen Loss of 1.2 kg

This is my first 13 weeks on the program.

In the first week, I did not do any Exercise, then in the second week, I started walking for 20 minutes four mornings a week, I am now walking 45 mins 5 days a week.
I had an ankle injury during week ten and could not do my walk so after my slight gain, I borrowed an exercise bike to make sure I did not gain the following week.
